Head and Class Tutors
Mr. Buckley and Ms. Pierce who are the First Year Year Heads will introduce themselves on your first day. Throughout your first year in school, they will get to know you, monitor behaviour and overall academic progress. Mr. Buckley and Ms. Pierce will organise events to encourage you to get to know your classmates. Such events include climbing Seefin, a nearby mountain and a trip to a nearby surf school.
Each First year will meet their Class Tutor every day before school begins – you will find out who your Tutor is on the first day . At these meetings attendance will be taken, information relayed in both directions, journals checked and situations dealt with as they arise.
